Shakira to confront preliminary in Spain for charge misrepresentation

Colombian vocalist and lyricist Shakira has been requested to stand preliminary by a Spanish adjudicator for purportedly neglecting to pay $13.9 million in charges on pay that she procured somewhere in the range of 2012 and 2014.

As per the NY Post, investigators will look for an eight-year jail sentence and a solid fine in the event that they figure out how to win a conviction against Shakira, who has denied any bad behavior. The court situated in the town of Esplugues de Llobregat close to Barcelona said Shakira will confront six counts of duty misrepresentation.

The 'Hips Don't Lie' vocalist has noticed that during the two-year time frame, she just lived not exactly 50% of the time in Spain. A request concurrence with examiners, which would have saved her a preliminary, has been dismissed by her. The date for the preliminary still can't seem to be set.
